The Alu-Cab Silenus Roof Conversion for the Ineos Grenadier creates the perfect platform for a functional and complete interior development.
We designed and manufactured the interior modules capitalizing on the dozens of setups created for the Alu-Cab Canopy Campers tested across the globe. Our goal is to maximize interior space for overlanding and long-term travel.
Whether you have the 5-seater or the Utility Commercial Grenadier, you can install the Silenus Roof Conversion Interior Setup. Select the version of your vehicle when placing your order.
As for all our modules, the main structures are made of sturdy Aluminum profiles and lightweight Dibond paneling. The top panels and the drawers are made of Scandinavian marine birch plywood finished externally with U-Pol Raptor polyurethane coating and inside with a floor-grade coating for durability.
Production time is between 21 and 28 days.
This setup, like all our modules, is designed and made in ITALY.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
PLATFORM SYSTEM
- Our front and rear Seat Delete System designed to create a spacious cargo area and accommodate our standard products as well as the Silenus Roof Conversion Interior Setup.
- You retain access to the battery area as well as additional flat storage space with plenty of hook points to anchor and secure your gear.
- There is also plenty of space between the platform and the front seats to store more gear and easy to grab items.
- Plenty of hook points to secure bags, boxes and tanks and install additional gear.
LEFT-HAND SIDE
- A bench with space to seat two people and two separate storage areas with top access via hatches.
- The bench includes a side mount for the optional Lagun Table and is designed to leave sufficient space to anchor gear on its sides.
- The optional MOLLE Panel can be installed on this side, facing the vehicle tailgate.
- We also include an electrical plug unit for USB and 12V. This panel needs to be wired.
RIGHT-HAND SIDE
- A longer bench with two spacious drawers and an open shelf system to accommodate your portable toilet, bags, boxes, and more.
- A top hatch provides additional access on top of the movable shelf.
- Extra seating with its own cushion (optional) when the prep folding table is down.
- Straps available to secure your cargo in the open storage area.
- The bench also serves as a stow-away location for the Lagun Table when not in use.
RAISED PREP SPACE
- Sitting on the passenger-side bench, this raised module houses the clean and grey water tanks and offers additional closed storage space.
- A water inlet is installed at the rear of the module to quickly refill the tank.
- The top comes with a stainless-steel sink and its custom bamboo cutting board (with your own custom engraving).
- This prep area can also be used when the sleeping platform of the roof conversion is down.
- The module comes with a pop-up working surface where you can store your stove with the provided straps.
ADD-ONS
The Silenus Roof Conversion Interior Setup for the Ineos Grenadier provides a great base to maximize the space you now have. These options are great additions to truly make the most out of it.
Fridge slide
Installed to slide out from the side doors (inner door hinge must be freed). The fridge can also be easily opened inside the vehicle. The slide can be installed on either side of the vehicle.
Lagun table
It is a great addition to work, eat, or play inside your Grenadier. There are two positions to anchor the leg of the Lagun Table. It can be easily stored away when not in use or when driving.
Cushion set
Extra comfort when seating on the benches. The left-hand side cushion is divided into two sections to allow easy access inside the hatches. Our cushions are water-repellent and can be unzipped and washed.
Carpeting
While our wood flooring already offers excellent insulation, the central carpet provides a warmer surface when stepping down from the top area in cold climates and an easier-to-clean option.
IMPORTANT NOTE
While we have tested our system with Dometic fridges, PortaPotti portable toilets, the Primus Tupike stove, and the Dometic Hydration System, they are not included in the package and are used only as props in the pictures.
We do not resell these products; you may purchase them separately or choose other similar products for the setup.

Do you provide an installation guide?
Yes, the Silenus Roof Conversion Interior Setup for the Ineos Grenadier come with its own installation guide. In it you will find instructions to help you clear the space for the platform and to install each module and component in the right sequence.
Do the modules come assembled?
Yes, all our modules are shipped already assembled with the necessary kit to install them. We also provide the instruction manual to install all parts and optionals.
Is this installation permanent?
No, this installation, like the large majority of our modules, is drill free and you can uninstall the setup should you need to.
Do you have dealers I can order this from and have it installed?

How do I access to the battery compartment?
If you have installed the Fridge and Cargo Slide on the left-hand side and it covers the battery system, you can still access it by quickly removing the slide. Move the fridge and slide out the tray. This exposes the 4 bolts securing the fridge to the raised aluminum profiles. Release those bolts with an Allen key counter-clockwise (one or two full turns) to disengage the T-nuts in the profiles’ channels. The slide is now free and the hatch can be opened to access the battery. To secure the slide back, repeat these steps in reverse.
Can I order only the seat delete or one side of the setup?
You can order the Seat Delete System as a separate product in the dedicated product page. You cannot order a partial subset of the Silenus Roof Conversion Interior Setup for the Ineos Grenadier. However, you can choose whether you want to install the full setup for each trip. The modules are independent and can be secured and used separately.
I have a lot of gear and bags, is there sufficient space?
While packing preferences vary, we aim for a balance between storage capacity and an organized living area. Neatly packing gear, clothes, and food is important to fully utilize the spaces in the benches, drawers, and around the vehicle. The central corridor can also store bags and standard ammo boxes, secured with straps and hooks attached to the benches’ aluminum profiles. Keeping it simple is usually the key to enjoying both short trips and long adventures.
What's included in the water system below the prepping space?
You will get the stainless sink with a connection to a grey water tank. In addition, the inlet to refill your fresh water tank is included with a food grade tube to be connected to your preferred water system.
