Overview
The Jeep Gladiator takes Wrangler capability and adds a pickup bed. For overlanding, that separation is useful: bulky or wet gear goes outside, living/storage modules inside the canopy/bed or in the cab. Roof and doors remain removable, and the platform shares much with the Wrangler JL family.
Why the Gladiator works for overlanding
- Truck bed isolates dirty/wet cargo from living space if you wish to leave that open.
- With a canopy/camper, you gain significant vertical storage and sleeping options.

- Touring (3–7 nights): cargo slide + drawer(s) in canopy + kitchen/combo module; platform or deck inside canopy for level storage.
- Extended/Family: full Alu-Cab Canopy Camper interior with double drawers + dedicated fridge slide + storage modules.

Do you outfit Alu-Cab Canopy Campers for Gladiator?
Yes—complete, Gladiator-measured module packages are available. We do not resell nor install the Campers. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper and ModCap Campers.
Is drilling required?
Varies by module; check each product page.
Will added weight hurt trail manners?
Keep heavy items low/forward, use appropriate springs/pressures, and avoid overloading slides/drawers.
Are modules removable?
Yes—systems are bolt-in/strap-in; remove between trips if desired. Some other installations like the Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Modules do take more time to be removed. The Seat Delete option can also be removed with a bit of time allocated for it.
