Overlanding is the type of long-distance adventure travel that involves driving a vehicle, usually a 4×4 off-road vehicle or truck, to remote and often rugged destinations.
The combination of a pick-up truck and a canopy camper is the perfect solution for traveling, exploring and living the outdoors.
We have devised an interior setup for the world famous Alu-Cab Canopy and ModCap Camper that turns the empty living quarter into a functional, sturdy and flexible space for solo travellers, couples and even families with children.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
The full setup is custom designed for each vehicle and includes:
- Platform with pre-drilled installation holes
- Double drawer module
- Webasto and electrical module with top hatch
- x2 Storage modules with top hatch
- Fridge slide area (Fridge Slide not included)
- Top movable panel
- 6cm high foam mattress combo with water repellant fabric (Comfort Option only)

Bamboo & Black Structure
For those who prefer a warmer look in their setup, we have designed and crafted a premium combination of bamboo and a powder-coated aluminum structure.
The bamboo surface is treated with an anti-mold coating to help preserve it even in humid climates.
Bamboo is easy to maintain: minor surface scratches can be quickly restored using hydro oil.
Like all our products, this version is built for long-lasting use and strength, and it comes with our solid global warranty, giving you peace of mind wherever you are in the world.
The High working/storage space is an add-on to this and to the standard version.

DO THE MODULES FIT ALSO IN THE NEWEST MODCAP BY ALU-CAB?
Yes, our modules are designed to fit inside the ModCap Camper, the ModCap Family, the ModCap Compact Camper and the classic Canopy Camper.
WHICH VEHICLES CAN THIS SETUP FIT IN?
If you already have (or are thinking about) a pickup equipped with the Alu-Cab Canopy Camper, we can fit it out with one of our setups.
Currently we have measured and designed combos for Toyota Hilux (DC&XC), Jeep Gladiator, new VW Amarok, new Ford Ranger (Raptor included), Nissan Navara, Isuzu D-Max and RAM 1500. If you don't see you vehicle in the list get in touch with the form below.
IS DRILLING REQUIRED?
This setup requires drilling to install rivnuts in the load bed to secure the platform onto which the modules are installed.
HOW CAN I HAVE IT INSTALLED?
We can install it for you at our location in Italy or we can ship it over to your preferred location or trusted workshop.
This setup requires a few tools and a little space near the vehicle to organise the modules, but it can be performed by one person.
DO YOU HAVE DEALERS WHERE I CAN HAVE THIS SETUP INSTALLED?
Yes, depending on the country where you you need the setup done, we can recommend a specialised dealer close to you. You can look on our Dealers Page to find out if one of them is located near you.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
The price includes the platform system; the four (4) modules: double drawer, webasto/electrical module, two storage modules, movable panel(s), Lagun table option (if selected), the cushions (if selected); the installation guide; the installation toolkit.
Fridge, fridge slider, webasto, electrical and/or water systems, and any other items not listed, are not included. You can add options to the package by selecting them.
Note about the Fridge and Cargo Slide option: the Bamboo board is not included as it cannot be utilized.
WHAT IS THE HIGH WORKING/STORAGE SPACE ADD-ON?
It is an option you can add to the setup, both for the Standard Black and Silver Version as well as for the Bamboo and Black Version.
It includes two additional modules mounted on top of the left side existing modules.
The left rear one includes an open shelf with a narrow panel to install electronics, plugs and small monitors on the inside and a MOLLE panel facing the outside of the camper.
The left forward one includes an adjustable shelf, accessible from the inside and the outside of the vehicle.
Both units keep the hatches of the lower modules accessible.
CAN THE SETUP BE REMOVED?
Yes, our modules are removable although, in this case, with a bit of work to unbolt each module.
WHICH FRIDGE CAN I USE WITH THIS SETUP?
The max height of the fridge on our slide cannot exceed 410mm (16in) with a base width of 400mm (15,9in).
For example, you can fit the following fridges: Dometic CFX 3/5 35lt, Engel MT-V 35lt, ICECO APL 30lt, Ecoflow Glacier 35lt.
I HAVE A BIG FRIDGE, CAN IT FIT IN THE SETUP?
We have a solution to fit larger and taller fridges such as Snowmaster and National Luna ones.
Contact us for more details and to check with us if the fridge you own is compatible with our setup and can be integrate into our system.
WHERE ARE THESE PRODUCTS MADE?
All our products are designed, manufactured, assembled and tested in Italy.
WHICH MATERIALS DO YOU USE?
In our Black Raptor Birch and Silver Structure version, our modules are made of high quality aluminum profiles, DIBOND panels, marine birch, RAPTOR paint coating.
In our Bamboo and Black Structure version, our modules are made of high quality aluminum profiles powder coated in black, Dibond Panels covered with carpet, Anti-Mold Coated Bamboo.
WHAT IS THE TOTAL WEIGHT?
You are looking at around 70-80kg of total weight depending on the version/vehicle.

We have a certain degree of personalization available on a case by case base.

HOW DOES SHIPPING WORK?
We ship internationally on pallet.
Please note that shipping is not included in the price and it is calculated at checkout for many countries.
We ship internationally across Europe, Middle East and North America. Contact us for detailed quotes if you need to order multiple sets or if your country is currently not included in our automated shipping calculator (in this case check out will not be possible).
WHAT ABOUT IMPORT TAXES AND DUTIES?
Depending on the country you are ordering from and shipping to, you will see the correct VAT or the VAT free price. If you order outside of the EU, import tax and duties are not included in the price. However, the price will be VAT free.
I AM BASED OUTSIDE OF THE EU, CAN I ORDER?
Yes, you can proceed with the order. If your country is currently not included in our automated shipping calculator (check out is not possible), you will need to get in touch with us and we will prepare a draft order for you. We ship with Incoterms DAP and this means you will be contacted by the forwarding company with the amount to pay to release the shipment and receive it at your address.
Please note that the price will be VAT free and therefore you will not be paying VAT or Sales taxes twice.
