The Trail Chef System is a great addition to the back of your vehicle to cook while overlanding. We love it so much, we even designed its own dedicated logo.
We set out to design this system with few but important key objectives in mind:
- Secure your fridge on a slide you can easily pull out when you need to access its content
- Provide a working space on a large stainless steel top you can independently pull out when you need it
- Help you store your stove and additional tools in a dedicated space, easy to reach and utilise
- Offer multiple use cases for added working space, cooking a meal, prepping a quick snack on the go or just chill with a drink while setting up the rest of your camp.
The Trial Chef System comes in 3 versions:
- Solo Version // just the self standing system without any box around it
- Module based without drawer version // the system is built into our fridge module with an internal height of 430 or 530
- Module based with drawer version // the system is built into our fridge module with a drawer and with an internal height of 410
The Trail Chef System is designed and manufactured in Italy.

- Heavy Duty rails (200kg) to support the double full extraction.
- Aluminum construction to reduce weight and eliminate rust issues in the long term
- Powder coating with anti scratch finishing
- Stainless steel pop-up top for a strong, easy to clean, working space you can use for multiple tasks
- Spacious storage space under the pop-up top to keep your stove secured with a strap (provided).
- Fridge slide with the same feature of our best selling Fridge and Cargo Slide.
- Fits our platform systems and modules. Yes, you can also mount it on top of your Tailgate Gear drawers if you want to.

Fits most 25lt, 35lt and 45lt fridges on the market such as Dometic, Engel, ARB, Ecoflow, Iceco, National Luna, Vevor, Alpicool.
IMPORTANT NOTE: double check sizes before purchasing the product.
The open back feature of the slide tray gives you the option to load fridges longer of the slide itself.
As per our Fridge and Cargo Slide, you can request the fridge slide to be reversed, thus allowing you to place and secure wider fridges.
ANCHORING
The Trail Chef System can be anchored on our platforms and can be connected to our modules.
If you wish to anchor it a different platform, you can utilise the existing slots in the Trail Chef System Solo Version base or order the Module one with straps and hooks.
