The Stacked Double Drawer Module combines a low and a high drawer in one compact unit, giving you organized, secure storage for overlanding adventures. Designed for full-time travelers and off-road explorers, it safely holds recovery gear, dry goods, batteries, and camping essentials while keeping them easy to access.
The lightweight aluminum frame secures both drawers, while shock-absorbing slides ensure smooth operation on rough tracks. Each drawer locks with a set of keys, and the module can be removed and stored when not in use.
Like all Tailgate Gear modules, the panels are made from Dibond and the drawers from Scandinavian marine birch plywood with a polyurethane coating for maximum durability. Designed and made in Italy, backed by our Limited Warranty.

Anchoring & Installation

This module can be used standalone or mounted to a platform. Jeep JLU and Defender configurations are adapted for narrower trunks. When ordered with a platform, the correct width is automatically assigned.
FAQ
What are the materials used?
The panels are Dibond (aluminum composite), and the drawers are marine-grade birch plywood with a tough polyurethane finish. This combination offers excellent strength-to-weight ratio and durability for overlanding. The overall structure frame is made of high quality aluminum profiles.
Will it fit my vehicle?
Refer to the specs above. Measure your trunk space, including seat incline and wheel wells, to ensure compatibility. If we have your vehicle platform available, the module will fit according to that.
Does it stay closed and silent off-road?
Yes. Shock-absorbing slides and pop-up locks prevent rattling and wandering during rough terrain. We recommend packing your gear tightly to minimise rattling.
How do partitions work?
The partitions can be moved to create smaller area within the drawer. They leave room to run cables from the front of the drawer to the back and also out form the back.
How do I order the partitions?
Partitions can be ordered with the drawer by selecting the quantity (up to 4) before placing the drawer into the cart and checking out. The quantity selector can be found right above the "add to cart" button.
How much weight can each drawer handle?
Up to 45 kg per drawer. The top surface supports up to 100 kg — ideal for gear or camp chairs.
Which common gear can I fit inside?
The higher drawer can fit, for example, the Frontrunner Flatpack. Also, the 0,5lt bottles of water can fit standing in the higher drawer. Stoves like the Primus Tupike can fit in the lower drawer.

Can it integrate with other Tailgate Gear modules?
Yes — modules are stackable and connectable. Specify if you need a connecting kit.
