Multi Cargo Slide

The Multi Cargo Slide is the perfect addition to your SUV, 4x4, Station Wagon and, why not, Sedans and some of the compact cars out there. It makes it easy to reach your cargo by simply pulling it out of the trunk instead of having to dive into it.

We designed it and built it with two objectives in mind:

• To fit in as many vehicles as possible and without drilling. 
• To allow anybody to easily install it, utilise it and benefit from it. 

The Multi Cargo Slide is pre-drilled to fit our platforms, vehicle configurations and combo. It also fits on top of our drawers and modules, either with an even side by side configuration or over the wide single/double drawer.

If you drive a SUV, a station wagon or even a more compact car, you can install the Multi Cargo Slide with straps and hooks provided in the kit. No drilling and it takes few minutes to set it up and remove it if you need to.

It provides a sturdy and easy-to-access space for your fridge, your boxes, tanks, batteries or other gear. It is made of aluminium and powder coated for a sleek and durable look. The choice of shapes and materials make it one of the lightest sliders on the market.

The lock-in/lock-out heavy duty guide keeps everything in place when driving and when using the slide, no matter the terrain. The double lock provides stability when fully extracted. 

The sunk-in configuration can accomodate fridges up to 650mm (L). If you own a bigger fridge and wish to place it sideways, you have an available width of 880mm. 

Straps, nuts and bolts are included depending on the configuration you choose.

Basic with straps and anchors - we provide a kit with hooks and straps to secure the Multi Cargo Slide into any vehicle that has 4 anchor points in the trunk. You do not need a platform for this. You need to measure your vehicle to check if the Cargo Slide fits. If you are unsure, get in touch for support.

Box or levelling bars with straps and anchors - together with the box or the bars, we provide the kit with hooks and straps to secure it into any vehicle that has 4 anchor points in the trunk. You do not need a platform for this. You need to measure your vehicle to check if the Cargo Slide, with the box or levelling bars underneath, fits. If you are unsure, get in touch for support.

Bolt onto our platforms and modules - we provide the bolts to secure the Multi Cargo Slide onto our platforms and modules. When you order them together, we will check the configuration for you. If you already own one of our products, please specify in the order notes which product and which order number if you ordered it directly. 

FAQ

Q: How do I select the correct version for my vehicle?

A: First of all you need to choose if you need to install the Multi Cargo Slide with Lift bars (4cm, 6cm or 8cm high), over one of the boxes (15cm or 20cm high) or flat on the trunk floor.

Once you choose the version, you will see the corresponding price.

If the price does not show, the selected combination is not available.

Q: Which fridges can I fit into this module?

A: In the standard mounting of the slide out tray, for example you are able to accomodate: Dometic CFX&CFX3 45lt and smaller, ARB 37LT, Engel MR040Engel MT35 V SERIES, Alpicool style tall 50lt fridges

If you drive a SUV or a station wagon, make sure you take the inclination of the rear glass into consideration when measuring the total height required to fit the fridge.

If you have any specific question about the fridge sizes and fitting, do not hesitate to get in touch to double check before purchasing the module.

Q: My fridge is longer than the size of the tray, can I still fit it?

A: Unfortunately no, unless you raise it. Remember not to consider the space of the handles if you are looking at the common technical sheets.

Q: Does the Multi Cargo Slide come assembled?

A: Yes, the main Slide comes fully assembled. If you have selected the Box or Lift bar option, all you have to do is mount the slide on top of it following the instructions included in the package.

Q: I have a flat trunk entrance, do I need the levelling bars or the box?

A: You may not need levelling bars or the box if your trunk floor is at the same height of its entrance. If you have very rounded corners, make sure that a width of 930mm is available for the slide to open. 

Q: I have sunk in trunk floor, do I need the levelling bars or the box?

A: Depending on the depth of the trunk floor compared to its entrance, you need to select the right option based on the necessary height. The choice between levelling bars and box is based on needs and preferences. To just clear the entrance of the trunk you have the options of levelling bars. To add storage space below the Multi Cargo Slide, the box is a great addition to keep gear packed away but easily accessible.

Q: Can I connect this module to other Tailgate Gear modules?

A: Sure. Our modules are stackable and this one is no different. Make sure that you have an even surface under the Multi Cargo Slide. 

Q: How can I check if the Cargo Slide fits in my vehicle?

A: Check the external dimensions of the Cargo Slide and measure your vehicle's trunk. Make sure you take into account the inclination of the rear seats if you need to place it close to them and the inclination of the rear window if you are planning on loading tall items onto the slide.
